Artist and gallerist Vihra Grigorova summarizes the results of the Workshop "Plovdiv - created by the Creator" in 2014.

For a second successive year we held the Workshop "Plovdiv - created by the Creator". Chief organizer and an engine of the project is our friend Matei Mateev. His inexhaustible enthusiasm and knowledge of art and authors brought together again well-known and distinctive Bulgarian artists.

The International Painting Symposium, which will be held in June 2013 (3-11), aim s to popularize and promote the cultural development of Plovdiv city as a candidate for European Capital of Culture 2019. Holding of such events in Plovdiv helps to enrich the cultural and social life of the city.

In the city of Plovdiv is held the first painting workshop planner in Bulgaria. The city is famous cultural center known as a gathering of artists. The rich architectural and historic heritage of Plovdiv and its unique natural resources annually welcomes many foreign visitors.
