The celebration of the third edition of the project The National Leaders and I passed solemnly in the presence of students from the 17 schools-winners from Plovdiv and Pazardzhik, their teachers and directors, social and cultural figures, publishers, citizens and journalists. This year the event took place on October, 31st , in the eve of the Day of the National Leaders in hotel “Trimontium”. The organization of the celebration of the results of the third edition of the project is carried out from the three Rotary clubs in Plovdiv – RC Plovdiv, RC PLovdiv-Puldin, RC Plovdiv-Philipopol and Zonta Club Plovdiv.
The leader 
of the project The National Leaders and I, Ass. Prof. Kircho Atanasov, welcomed the guests and announced the results from the passed during the 2012-2013 school year third edition of the initiative. This year in the races took participation 16 000 students from 101 schools from Plovdiv and Pazardzhik municipalities. The project The National Leaders and I is gradually gaining popularity and it is expected in the following editions its scale to become national.
Addresses to the guests made the three Rotary Clubs and Zonta Club, which assist for the third consecutive year the project. The Vice President Margarita Popova, under whose patronage passed the third edition of The National Leaders and I also expressed her good feelings for this patriotic initiative and noted its importance for the younger generation. The Minister of Education and Science Professor. Dr. Aneliya Klisarova who was not able to attend in person the official report of the project, sent a congratulatory address to the organizers – Rotary clubs in Plovdiv and the Zonta Club. Congratulatory letter was read by the Deputy Minister of Education and Science Atanaska Teneva.

The students who attended the solemn event had the chance to have an open conversation with the Vice President Margarita Popova. As a reward for the participation of all the 101 schools the publishing houses “Hermes“, “Anubis-Bulvest“, “Letera”, “Prosveta” and “Zahari Stoyanov” donated to the school libraries over 20 000 volumes.
Book, knowledge and spiritual wealth make a man free. The free man is valuable and necessary at all times.

The official celebration of the report of the project attended Prof. Dr. Vania Dobreva – chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Education, Atanaska Teneva – Deputy Minister of Education and Science , Dr. Doncho Baksanov – member of parliament, ex-governor of region Pazardzhik, Stefan Stefanov – Deputy Mayor of Plovdiv Municipality, Nasko Nachev – Past district governor of Rotary District 2482 Bulgaria, Prof. Dr. Zaprian Kozludzhov – Rector of PU “Paisii Hilendarski” and others. Among the guests were members of the national jury – akad. Konstantin Kossev, acad. Vasil Gyuzelev and Ivan Granitski (publisher).
